The SIP-5030 ออกแบบเพื่อรองรับการตรวจจับผู้บุกรุกสำหรับพื้นที่กว้าง ตัวอุปกรณ์มาพร้อมกับระบบการประมวลผลอัจฉริยะ เพื่อประสิทธิภาพในการป้องกันทรัพย์สินจากความเสียหาย และลดอัตราการแจ้งเตือนผิดพลาดจากสภาพแวดล้อมภายนอกที่ควบคุมได้ยาก เช่น อุณหภูมิ แสงสว่าง แสงแดด แสงไฟหน้ารถ เป็นต้น
ความพิเศษสำหรับเซนเซอร์รุ่นนี้ คือ PIR detector ที่เพิ่มเข้ามาอีกหนึ่งตัวใต้อุปกรณ์หลัก เป็นการเพิ่มพื้นที่ตรวจจับและป้องกันการเกิดช่องว่างของพื้นที่ที่อยู่ด้านล่างอุปกรณ์ โดย PIR detector ที่อยู่ด้านล่างนี้จะมี output แยกอิสระจากตัวเซนเซอร์หลัก และเซนเซอร์มี main output เพื่อเชื่อมต่อเข้ากับระบบกล้องวงจรปิด สำหรับ output ของ creep zone detector จะใช้สำหรับป้องกันอุปกรณ์
